NO-BRAINER. SUPERB VALUE. ACE FUNCTIONALITY. All metal construction, clear LED display. Idiot proof connectivity and synchronization. Mono/stereo selectivity is brilliant and easy to achieve. Unless you want to spend over $1000 for a Sennheiser or Shuresystem, this ACEMIC G5 in ear monitoring system is by far and away the best value, quality on the market. Those two systems are no doubt great but why contribute to their marketing budget when you get fantastic quality sound, EQ, balance and mono stereo compatibility at such a value-led price point? You would have to buy three of these to equate! I am seriously considering getting a second set as back up. I have already purchased a secondary set of earbuds… ‘not essential but I feel I may get improved isolation and sonic quality from them over and above the basic set provided here. Particularly valuable is the flexible audio connectivity. Quality left and right XLR/jack balanced/unbalanced combos for the inputs (rear), wireless connectivity to the receiver/ear-set AND separate h-phone/stereo output with separate volume control means there’s virtually NO configuration this unit won’t serve! Varying pad/squelch level controls mean no accidental in-ear overload and the comprehensive, ‘all-control’ menu/functionality ON THE BELT-PACK itself offers unrivaled artiste/musician/performer control! Oh… and as for that 328’ line-of sight connectivity!….? I perform on a cruise ship (steel doors, hallways, floors, bulkheads, radio frequencies up the wazoo!…) I set this baby up and fired a 20-minute soundtrack test piece. I then left it playing while I went UP two decks and the WHOLE length of the ship to get my laundry while wearing the inear monitors… NOT a BLIP!… then DOWN 2 decks to the dining-room/kitchen (stainless steel appliances, industrial equipment…)… NOT a BLIP…!

I have to start by saying I didn’t have high expectations for the cost. I wanted to wait to leave a review until I could officially use them in a real world experience and I was quite surprised and so was the artist that was using them. We needed a quick fix for inner monitors for a national act that was playing in one of our shows in a downtown area, which I thought there would be lots of drops, but he was impressed himself, great product. Great price you will be impressed.

One for the money, two for the show... 1. This product is well worth the money! I used it to control my stage monitors and it worked flawlessly. 2. I used this to feed lines to an on-stage alternate actor after the principle became ill. I would recommend this iem system to anyone who needs one or two in ear ear monitors!

Good In-ear Monitor, Good Sound. I play drums in a band and also run the mixer. I have in the past used an in-ear system, but it cut in and out and the sound was not as clean. Then I went to a monitor speaker in front of me, but that is hard to hear with the rest of the instruments playing so I ordered this ACEMIC G5 UHF In-ear monitor. One of the other band members had one also. It was easy to setup and because there was two of us using the same type of system, I had to change channels to get off her channel. Once I changed the master unit , it beamed my portable unit to sync it up and we were ready to go. I only use one ear and leave my other ear open to hear the real world. The system had very good audio and we played for five hours, the battery still did not run out. The system has good range with a long antenna. Did not have any drop outs while walking around.

Out of the box, works flawlessly and sounds great! Initial first setup out of the box to test, (in my studio, however this will be used on stage), required no settings to be adjusted to work, hooked it up, powered it up, getting sound from my iPad for test, audio sounds very good quality wise, it appears to be loud enough, good spectrum of frequency response low to high, I think the durability factor will be fine as the case is metal and I have no intention of tossing it across the room. As far as distance between transmitter and and receiver, I do not expect it to have any issues here because, when initially testing, the transmitter was in my studio and Ii walked about 50-60 feet away into another room with several walls between the trans & receiver,, it was like I was standing next to the transmitter, no drops, no static, no volume or quality loss of any kind - perfect, no issues! As far as latency, I will be checking this tomorrow at Church and will update this review based upon my findings. Note I used my earbuds and did not check the set that came with the rig. So far I am 100% happy with my purchase, and my expectations have been exceeded!
